Roger Steare Consulting Limited, (‘our’, ‘us’ or ‘we’) are committed to ensuring the protection of your privacy and personal data, and it’s important for you to know and understand how we will use and protect any information you give us through the use of our websites, our profile software and social media. Our Privacy Policy seeks to follow the current Privacy and Electronics Communications Regulation (PECR), or ePrivacy Directive, and the General Data Privacy Regulations (GDPR) and relates to our websites moralDNA.org and profile.moraldna.org.

Effective from 25th May 2018, and through subsequent updates, your information will only be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to alter this Policy without notice and therefore suggest that you check back from time to time to ensure you are up to date and happy with any changes made.

How we collect Information

Why do we collect this information and what do we do with it?

Specifically via the MoralDNA™ Profile Test

We collect data in order to conduct research. That research is aimed at improving  our understanding of ethics for the benefit of humanity. We regularly publish our findings.

By completing our MoralDNA™ online questionnaire form you are agreeing to give us your personal data with your full expressed consent. Below we’ll tell you about what we do with this data. Please ensure you are happy before proceeding to take the test.

Personally identifiable data: Non-anonymous data, your NAME and EMAIL ADDRESS, which allows us to identify you as an individual, is available ONLY to Roger Steare Consulting Limited (the Data Controller) and Psycholate Limited (the Data Processor). This is retained in order for us to put your name on your report, send it to you and communicate with you in case of technical issues. Such data is held for one year for the sole purpose of inviting you to retake the questionnaire, after which it is deleted.

Anonymized data: The information you give us, including your age, your location, gender, etc and your answers to the questionnaire CANNOT BE USED TO IDENTIFY YOU AS AN INDIVIDUAL. This anonymized information forms our research data and will be kept indefinitely. We may also share this data with third-parties for research purposes ONLY.

No advertising: Your information will NEVER be used for any marketing or advertising purposes and we will never seek to sell you any goods or services.

Your right to ‘opt-out’: During the demographics section of the questionnaire, if you do not wish to provide certain information, you may choose “Rather not say” in any or all of the options. If you decide that you do not wish your data to be processed after collection, please send an email to moraldnadata@psycholate.com stating your objection and the email address you used to register. Your data will then not be included in our research.

Forced choices: During the questionnaire we require you to pick the most fitting answer to ALL our questions according to the instructions given. This is necessary in order to calculate your scores according to our statistical model and make meaningful comparisons of your scores to all the data we have in our database. If you do not agree, you are not obliged to complete the questionnaire.

Your results: The purpose of our questionnaire is for your own personal development. No important decisions that affect you should be taken based on the results of this questionnaire. If you think someone may be using it for this purpose, such as your current or potential employer, please send us an email at moraldnadata@psycholate.com explaining the circumstances.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure and to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Controlling your Personal Information

Personal information that you submit to us through this website will only be used for the purposes we solicited it. For example, to respond to an enquiry, and will not be used for any other purpose without your consent. We will never pass it on to any third party without your consent, unless legally required to do so. Any information shared with us digitally may be kept for up to 90 days prior to deletion.

You may, at any time, request to see what information of yours we hold and request its deletion. There is no charge and we will supply the information to you within 30 days.

We use a third party provider Hootsuite to manage many of our social media interactions. If you send us a private or direct message via social media the message will be stored by Hootsuite for three months. It will not be shared with any other organisations. You’ll find their privacy policy here.
